Academic Honors
Once per semester the school honors those students who have achieved distinction in their studies. The school strongly believes that recognition of the student's accomplishments is a key component of their success. Accordingly the school awards the following honors based upon their grade point averages:

Student of the Month
Every month, a COA Middle School teacher gets to nominate a student of the month. These students are recognized during school wide assemblies. The day after the assembly, the hard-working student gets to enjoy a pizza lunch with the principal.
